1. Don't forget the breakfast on the 2nd Saturday. We need the support for the summer. Counting the seven workers who worked and paid for breakfast in June, we had a grand total of 25 paying customers. Some times it seems that the workers become disillusioned because of the lack of support. Are these numbers what you would consider a successful breakfast and above all, support of a Lodge function? Would you operate a business in this manner? I would think not, so how are we to continue without support?
2. The trestleboard is the word of the Lodge. If you need to get the word out, please call Steve Whaley at 347-6547 and he will see that your information is published.

WORDS FROM THE WORSHIPFUL MASTER

I realize we are into the summer season and there are many things to occupy our time, yet we still have meetings on the 2nd and 4th Thursday of every month. Attendance has drastically decreased in the last couple of meetings. We would still like to see you in Lodge and hope that you will find the time to be with us at our next meeting.

There are no scheduled initiations at this time and we do not have any major undertakings planned. There are some important events to look forward to. One of which is the annual rib dinner. We are presently trying to determine if we can buy the pork and keep the price at the same level which will enable us to make a profit. As you well know, pork prices have skyrocketed.

You have heard me say many times that we need to remember our obligation - if we all stayed away from the Lodge or any of its functions because we are unhappy with what someone said or did, we would all have had ample opportunity to stay home at some time or other. Is this the reason we don't have the support of all our Brothers and appendent bodies?
