BELLEVIEW MASONIC LODGE

IMPORTANT   DATES

2nd & 4th THURSDAY 7:00 P.M

YORK RITE & BEAUCEANT 1st & 3rd Wednesday
EASTERN STAR
1st & 3rd TUESDAY

FROM THE EAST:

Brethren,

Grand Lodge was a success. All the proposals that we hoped would pass did, including our ability to have eighteen year olds become Masons. Also, a background check will be done on all those wanting to become a Mason. I will discuss these further at our meeting. After spending considerable time with Brothers from other Lodges in and out of our District, closer cooperation and even assistance with projects seems to be the key point of the conversations I had. Working together brings more strength, and all Lodges, big and small will benefit. Standing alone isn't working!

Fraternally, Paul Sullivan W.M.

FROM THE WEST:

Brethren,

The W.M. and I just returned from G.L.. We had a wonderful experience. The W.M. will inform the Craft at the next meeting. We are going to have a F.C. Degree on June 26. I will be the W.M. for the degree. Please try to attend this special day for our new E.A.. More Brothers on the sidelines will make him feel the Lodge is supporting him, and it would also help me. Again-please attend! The Fish Fry is on July 19. Please sell tickets, and we need your help putting the event on. Thanks for all your support.

 Fraternally, SW Ted Mullins

STRENGTH THROUGH UNITY

FROM THE SOUTH:

SINCE OUR JW IS ON LEAVE, I THOUGHT I MIGHT PUT OUT SOME THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN ON MY MIND.

OUR SECRETARY, STEVE WHALEY, IS SIMPLY THAT, OUR SECRETARY. HE IS NOT THE CUSTODIAN AND SHOULD NOT HAVE TO BE CLEANING UP THE LODGE, KITCHEN, OR DINING ROOM AFTER WE USE THEM. THIS INCLUDES WE MASONS, THE STAR, YORK RITE, AMARANTH, AND ANY GROUP I HAVE LEFT OUT. WE RENT THE LODGE OUT TO INDIVIDUALS ALSO, AND THEY PAY A STIFF PENALTY FOR LEAVING THE PLACE A MESS. WE CANNOT EXPECT THEM TO COME IN AND HAVE TO CLEAN THE LODGE BEFORE THEY USE IT. DO NOT LEAVE THE PLACE A WRECK. PUT THE GARBAGE IN THE DUMPSTER, CLEAN THE COUNTERS AND THE FLOORS. AND PLEASE PUT THINGS BACK WHERE YOU FOUND THEM .

FOR EVERYONE'S INFORMATION, OUTSIDE PEOPLE WHO RENT THE LODGE NOW PAY
$ 150.00 WITH AN ADDITIONAL $50.00 NON REFUNDABLE CLEANING DEPOSIT IF THE
LODGE IS NOT PROPERLY CLEANED. THIS WILL BE MY ONE AND ONLY GRIPE NOTE
FOR THE YEAR-PLEASE PAY ATTENTION. PAUL SULLIVAN, WM

FROM THE OES:

Dear Sisters and Brothers,

On June 3 we have our Official Inspection, with our Associate Grand Conductress, Lois Mack, with a covered dish dinner at 6:00 PM. Let's have a great turnout!

Our sister, Freda Higgins, now has two new Great Grandchildren. On May 10 Eleanor Grace was born in Salt Lake City, Utah, and on May 20 Addison Talor was born in Ocala. Both mothers and babies are doing well. This makes a total of 14 Great Grandchildren. Congratulations to all of the family members.

We wish all of our traveling Sisters and Brothers safe journeys and happy visits to their Northern homes for the summer, and look forward to seeing them again in the fall.

June 21- Pancake Breakfast— postponed

July 12—Hot dog and Ice Cream Social— postponed

August 9—Dinner and Barbershop Quartet- Proceeds to Worthy Grand Matrons Special Project. RSVP by July 12. Dinner is $10.00 . REMEMBER, on June 17 we will be initiating two new members. BE PREPARED FOR THIS!
