Brethren,
I would first like to sincerely thank everyone who helped with the fish fry. It was the best the lodge has ever had. You can see what we can do when we all work together with the same goal at hand. Now we have one more huge event coming, the famous Rid Feast, Oct.3rd on Saturday. I am going to ask again for everyone's full support. We have ordered 2,200 pounds of rids. I know we can cook them. But, the key is to sell tickets. This is our biggest event of the year lets work together to make this Rib Feast the biggest the lodge has ever had. We all need to save up and buy and sell, sell, sell tickets. Thanks for your help in advance. Look forward to seeing you at our meetings and the Rid Feast.

STRENGTH THOUGH UNITY
On Saturday, November 14th at Friendship Lodge NO.53 there will be a workshop for lodge officers with registration and breakfast at 8:00 a.m. The workshop will begin promptly at 9:00 a.m. As in the past years, the Two Ralph's (R.W. Shollenberger and W. Rudolph)" will be hosting the workshop. We request all officers and those who would like to become officers to attend. We do not attempt to tell you how to run your lodge but try to educate your officers in the performance of their duties and help them act as "mentors" to the officers following behind. The goal is to have the Line work as a team. It will be an educational and fun day.
